About Me

Over twenty-five years ago, I picked up a camera and began taking photographs as a hobbyist. What, at the time, was a therapeutic endeavor, has turned into a two-decade passion for capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments.

During my thirty-year career in law enforcement, I was fortunate to begin shooting in a professional capacity, and my travels throughout several continents enabled me to capture and share images from abroad.

I draw inspiration from the likes of David Yarrow, Ansel Adams, Clyde Butcher, and Nicholas Teetelli. They are inspirational fine art photographers. I have been fortunate over the past few years to have had my prints sold at auction in support of charitable events. Likewise, some have been selected by local businesses for inclusion in their decorative motif.

My true passion lies in portrait photography. Once in a lifetime opportunities to capture the story and essence of an individual.

When my eye captures a scene and I set about composing an image - it’s for me - and for you, to share.
